Her face was expressionless. She stared obliviously into the wall like there was something beyond it. She breathed heavily. Marks of tears on her cheeks looked like a dried-up river. She was withdrawn to herself like a sea who draws in before hitting hard with horrendous waves. He doesn't know for how long they sat there like that. He didn't dare to lift his gaze from the floor and sat motionlessly on that chair. The excruciating pain and torture of the dead silence of that room felt like a slow poison to him. "For how long has it been going on?" she asked without changing her dead-end gaze. "A month! ” he replied in a single word. Who is she ? she continued.
